Custom LEGO Space software

Requirements:

  • A stable internet connection

General way of working:

This application will automatically create a directory (folder) named "lego-space-images" on the desktop:

  • Make sure that the pictures from the DSLR get in this folder

  • This folder is monitored every second for new pictures

  • Do not delete this folder, or the application will stop working!

  • Once a photo is processed, it will be (re)located in the "converted" folder within the "lego-space-images" folder:

    • This folder can be deleted if necessary to free up hard drive space

    • It is primarily maintained for backup purposes

Instructions:

  1. Open the application: It is recommended to open this software first

  2. Select your current market

  1. Ensure all three status boxes are "green"

    • If printing is not required, you can ignore the "printer connected" notification

  1. The live feed will update automatically as soon as a new entry has been scanned

  2. You can delete an entry by clicking the button with the "trash" icon:

    • A confirmation popup will appear

  1. You can print the souvenir card by clicking on the "Print" button:

    • A confirmation popup will appear

    • This is completely optional!

  1. Press the "entries" button located at the top right:

    • This operates similarly to the live feed, but displays more entries

    • The live feed only shows the four most recent entries

  1. Press the “statistics” button located at the top right:

    • This displays the event statistics (number of scans) for the past seven days, including the current day

To resolve any issues:

  1. Ensure that the internet connection is active:

    • otherwise you won't be able to start/use this software

  2. Quit the software and restart

  3. Restart the computer if necessary
